Senior Dinner
Each year on the second Tuesday in August; the members of the Bernardston Kiwanis Club invite the area Seniors to the Park for our Annual Senior Dinner.
Our event begins around 5:00 with a Social Hour of horsd’oeuvres & soft drinks. Also, music is provided by a local D. J. Playing wonderful period music. (TY Chase Barton).
Dinner starts promptly when Russ Deane, our Senior member says so. Baked Ham, coleslaw and Baked Beans with Rye bread followed up by dessert round out the main course.
Afterwards club members and guests from the community enjoy each other’s company and share stories of days in the past. Hopefully this ongoing tradition will remain a constant in all our lives.
The Club coordinates with the local Senior Center, so any further inquiries can be directed towards them or any Club member.
Chicken Pot Pie Dinner Series
Each winter the club offers a series of Chicken Pot Pie suppers to benefit different organizations across Franklin County.
Look for these on the 4th Saturday of January, February, March and April!
Appreciation Dinner
Each year the Kiwanis holds an appreciation dinner for those who help us in our mission.
